Collaboration: Story Mindmaps

During Thursday's briefing, the group was given an envelope with a scenario written inside that we had to use to come up with ideas and concepts for our film. To begin with, we tried to come up with ten or more ideas, of which ended up being;

• Builder
• Secret agent
• Speed dating encounters
• Teacher
• Sibling
• Chef
• Doctor
• Assassin
• Villain
• Scientist
• Santa
• Tourist
• Pilot

After some discussion and brief exploration of potential skits and storylines we could make from some of these ideas, we decided to eliminate the ideas we thought wouldn't work out as well in the long run or that would have less potential than some of the others. This left us with the final three concepts of 'builder', 'villain', and 'speed-dating encounters'. 

We assigned a concept to each person in the group; Liv looked at the World's Worst Builder, Shannon looked at the World's Worst Speed-dating Encounters, and Karris looked at the World's Worst Villain. From this point on, we are going to be looking at which idea to take forward for our production.
