Collaboration: Character Design Part 2
These are further exploration of designs for the main characters of the skit.
For Skye, Liv looked at using the height aspect of her initial design to push into the final design. The clothing choice and hairstyle are direct results of the character's height; the clothes are too small for her and her hair contains bits and pieces that get caught in it while she's walking around. The height also makes the character a lot clumsier than the rest.
Shannon's design for Victoria still plays on a more 'traditional' appearance for the character in accordance to her uptight-ness.
For the main character, Lucky, the studio thought it would be best if his bowtie could be changed to a regular tie to make the patterns on it more visible as opposed to the smaller bowtie. This would hopefully make it more obvious to the audience that the character, despite his name and the imagery associated with him, is not actually very lucky and is instead rather clumsy.
Liv's design of Cici went down the mismatched clothing route as this would've made more sense in accordance with Cici's blindness and is the more comedic option than those presented in the initial designs.
Shannon's design for the character Penny was intended to compliment Lucky's; therefore, a similar colour palette and imagery was used for her to make it more obvious to the audience that she is meant to be the one (even if it doesn't seem this way at first in the story).
